Moving or Copying Emails to Public Folders |
|
|
|
Under some circumstances, you will want to move an email from your Inbox to one of the five SpammerTrap folders (under Public Folders). To move an email, highlight the email (by right clicking on it) then: - Drag and drop it into the desired folder OR
- Click the "Edit" button on the tool bar and select the "Move to folder…" option.
If it is not spam:
- You can answer it, save it, or delete it
- You can move (DO NOT COPY) it to one of the following:
- The "Not Spam" folder, so SpammerTrap can learn by analyzing valid emails.
- The "Whitelist Sender" folder, and all future emails from the sender will be considered valid.
If it is spam, you can move (DO NOT COPY) it to one of the following: - The "Is Spam" folder, so SpammerTrap can learn by analyzing spam emails. You will not receive this type of email again.
- The "Blacklist Sender" folder, and you will not receive emails from this sender again.
- The "Report Spam" folder, so SpammerTrap can issue an external report.
*Note that each of the five SpammerTrap folders has its own subfolders. Do not move or copy emails into any of these subfolders.
