Michael Scheidell Discusses Top Security Threats, Tips for Resolving
Boca Raton, Fla. – Oct. 3, 2008 – Michael Scheidell, chief technology officer for SECNAP® Network Security Corporation, will address delegates of the ITEC Conference at the Broward Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. October 7-8, 2008. The Conference features seven hot-topic tracks including security, virtualization and data centers, cloud computing, unified communications and VoIP, green IT and the next workplace, enterprise and social media software, and consumerization. A recognized expert in network and data security, Mr. Scheidell has a rich history of innovation and thought leadership. Since 2001 he has aggressively pursued the development of advanced security technology, and with impressive results—including a patent-pending network intrusion detection and prevention system and a revolutionary email security solution. Mr. Scheidell has delivered keynote addresses at IntrusionWorld and HackerHalted conferences, and has been interviewed by Hakin9 and VAR Business magazines. In his presentation to ITEC delegates, Mr. Scheidell proposes that three additional, undocumented layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model exert a powerful influence on information technology decisions. He also offers guidance to assist delegates in managing these influences to become more effective in their organizations and more successful in their careers.
According to ITEC, conference attendees are serious information technology users and motivated buyers, with more than 80 percent having buying influence over the products and services exhibited at ITEC conferences. In excess of 60 percent of buyers cite their purchasing timeframe as now through the next six months, and an additional 18 percent are prepared to purchase within 6 to 12 months. SECNAP personnel will be available in Booth 403 at the ITEC Conference. About SECNAP
